Attack correlation with environmental data
This chart highlights attacks occuring when the average minimum temperature in the month of the attack is above °C and the rainfall for the month of the attack is above the annual average of mm for the region as a whole. This serves to test the idea that crocodiles become less active and are less likely to attack when temperatures drop below °C and that attacks are also more common in periods of higher rainfall.
